The good design...

> when you started to design?
Professionally, a few years ago. Before that, I was in a completelydifferent field, so I learned about design by myself, starting fromweb design to graphic design, morion design.

> have arts, design, movies, etc. influences?
Jonathan Ive, Josef Muller-Brockmann, Kimberly Elam

> how do you see the industrial design global scene now?

I like the way people now seriously seek simple things. People arebecoming increasingly conscious of what is intuitive to use and whatfunctions are really necessary in one item.

> Do you think that design is the new format of the SCI-FI?

You mean "well-designed things are the new trend of Sci-Fi"?People have got used to beautifully designed 3D characters move reallysmoothly in their HD screens, so naturally poorly made things lookpretty bad on screen these days. And the more simple our gadget become, the more people can foresee thefuture with lots of chic, simple items around us.

> what do you think about the new trend of art as desing & design as art?
I believe design is communication. A well-designed product issomething created through listening to the user's (and the client's)voices. Of course at the same time the designer has to maintain andenhance the quality of the product. So I think design is like adiscussion while art is like a speech. A great speaker can attract anumber of people, talking about what he/she believes in. So I believeart and design are two different things, and it's difficult to merge.

> have projects in the near future?

I always design things that I happen to think of, so I have absolutelyno idea about what's coming. But I'm guessing digital gadgets are themain target.

> as i ask to all of people in this blog...How do you think about Mexico?

I've wanted to go and live there for some time. Some of my friends arefrom Mexico, and all of them are saying wonderful things about thecountry. I love to listen about Mexico, and as I do so, I'm more and more fond of Mexico!.
